Got an iPhone? Search 160,000+ Recipes Easily for Free!
If you're a lucky iPhone user, now you can have quick, free access to your online BigOven Favorites, Try Soons, and search the entire 160,000 recipe archive for free from anywhere -- the grocery store, your kitchen, your friend's house.
Stuck at the grocery store? You can simply type in a couple ingredients (e.g., "chicken onion pepper") and BigOven will suggest a few things you can make, giving you the ingredients right there at the store. Better still, mark a few of your Favorites on BigOven.com (or post your favorites from any web browser), and you'll always have handy access to your favorite repertoire of recipes right there.
It only takes a minute, and it's free. Here's how to do it:
1) Launch Safari on your iPhone
2) Navigate to www.bigoven.com/m (notice the "/m" at the end -- it's important)
3) Click the + sign on the bottom toolbar
4) Choose "Add to Home Screen"
5) Click "Add" in the upper right
6) That's it!
By doing this, you'll have free access to recipes wherever you are, be it in your kitchen, the grocery store, or on vacation.
On the home screen of www.bigoven.com/m, you'll see buttons for Favorite recipes and Try Soons. You can create a free account on BigOven.com, and post your Favorites and even build a quick Try Soon list.
Once you've done the quick steps above, scrolling to the right on your home screen, you should have a link that says "Recipes":
Click on Recipes, and you'll see:
You can enter anything in the search box.
